| Match Report | After the upturn in fortunes last week up Torquay, a new found confidence had formed going into the match against OPM B. Sticking with the same formation but a much varied squad, we initially looked good in formation, and dominted the oppo early once again, and after a period of dominance took the lead. Unfortunately OPM edged their way into the game and before we knew it they hit back with 2 goals and lead at the break. After confusion with substitutions in the first half, the ultimate confusion occured at the start of the second, starting with ony 10 men! a fact that helped me earn DOD! when we got back to full strength we grew in stability and through grit and determination drew level. this was a "back's to the wall" effort, not pretty, chaotic, and confused, but it showed guts and Duchy spirit to surrender the lead and then take a the win in the end with a 3.2 scoreline, a goal from Tristan Barret, and 2 for James "Vinny" Vincent cancelling out the 2 from OPMs Joe Loughran. For MOM Noah Robertson got the votes with a solid peformance at left back, a role he grew into strongly as the game progressed. Onewards and upwards chaps |
