First Half Showing Earns Victory

Duchy B earned only their third win of the season with a 5-0 dismantling of bottom-placed Plymouth Uni. C.

All five goals came in the first half and - in truth - the home side did well not to capitulate after the interval. Tristan Barrett marked his 40th appearance for the club by opening the scoring for the Cornishmen, before Jimmy Morgan picked up his first of the season to stretch the lead. 

Tom Ettling then scored his first goal for almost a year with a well dispatched penalty stroke, before turning provider for Man-of-the-Match Tom Parker who fired home a penalty corner for 4-0. Barrett then completed the scoring shortiy before the interval to take the lead to a commanding 5-0 and put the result beyond doubt. 

Man of the match for Duchy was awarded to Tom Parker.
