Match Report | Truro Hit Seven in Pre-Season RoutFive goals in the first half set Truro on the road to a comfortable pre-season win over Duchy. After a goal-less opening quarter, Truro smashed home four goals in eight minutes to effectively kill off the contest and, despite an Alex Roberts penalty stroke, had extended their lead to 5-1 by the interval. The second half saw Duchy have their best spells of the game, however it was the championship side who remained in control; and the men in green added a further two to their tally after the interval to take the final score to a resounding 7-1. Player of the match was awarded to Tom Marmoy. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Duchy | Alex Roberts 22PS Truro | Fergus Laity 17F; Martin Rowe 19PC; Nick Stanlake 28PS; James Westaway 35F, 54F; unknown 25PC, 64PC. |
