Match Report | Comeback Win as Duchy Remain TopA wonderful second half fightback saw Duchy recover from 2-0 down to record a 3-2 win over local rivals, Truro. After a dismal first half, the Black-and-Whites trailed to two counter-attack goals from the hosts, however a penalty corner on the stroke of half time from Martin Crump gave Duchy hope going into the break. Having regrouped, Duchy dominated the second period and equalised through Justin Chuchill who glanced home a cross from Simon Stevenson, before Max Chippett's mis-hit penalty corner snuck in to put the visitors 3-2 ahead. Despite Duchy's improvements, Truro always looked a threat on the counter attack, making for a tense finish to the match; however Duchy held on for a vital three points. Man of the Match was awarded to Rick Searle __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Truro C | F, F Duchy A | Martin Crump PC; Justin Churchill F; Max Chippett PC |
