| Match Report | Encouraging Performance from Duchy IIDespite falling to a 2-1 defeat to Truro there were plenty of positives for Duchy's newly formed Women's 2nd XI In their first match of pre-season Duchy were somewhat rusty during the opening quarter and a well-drilled Truro side capitalised by taking the lead after 12 minutes. Duchy improved as the half went on and five minutes before the break drew level when Eva Everitt played a pass to Willow Jeffrey who swept home for 1-1. Duchy were the stronger side in the second half, however were caught on the counter after ten minutes, with Truro restoring their lead; and despite significant pressure from Duchy in the final quafter of the match the home defence stood strong and held on for a 2-1 win.
